Wilderness has a wonderful temperate climate all year round with many winter days as warm and sunny as the summertime.  The average annual rainfall is around 700mm, spread throughout the year.

Wilderness is centrally situatedin the Garden Route between Knysna, Mossel Bay, George and Oudtshoorn, in the heart of the Garden Route Lake District and in the middle of South Africa's golfing mecca with some of the worlds top ranking golf courses only a short drive away.
