Featuring its own private entrance and a quaint courtyard boasting mountain views and pergolas, this accommodation blends historical charm with modern comforts.
Inside, the spacious open studio retains its historical allure while incorporating modern touches. The studio encompasses a well-equipped kitchen and a sizable table suitable for meal preparation or work. A cozy living area, furnished with a new 32” smart TV (Netflix only, no DSTV), invites relaxation. A comfortable leather couch accommodates two, while a new queen bed and fireplace ensure warmth on chilly evenings. Its high ceilings and thick walls naturally regulate indoor temperatures, augmented by a new air conditioning unit for hot days and electric heaters and blankets for cold winter nights.
The studio includes a generously-sized dressing room and a bathroom with both shower and bath facilities. Outside, a large verandah equipped with a barbecue, wooden table, and chairs offers a perfect spot for outdoor dining or lounging amidst the, private garden adorned with trees, shrubs, and roses. Two deck chairs and an umbrella provide additional comfort. A cleaning service is included once a week.
For security, the cottage features a private entrance, alarm system, and street camera. Parking is conveniently available on the street in front of the cottage.
Additional amenities include a private garden and easy access to nearby restaurants and the wine tram station. During load shedding, the provided inverter and solar panels ensure uninterrupted power for essential amenities such as internet access, lighting, and the TV. However, major appliances cannot be used during these periods.
Rent includes water, gas, alarm services, and weekly gardening. Electricity operates on a prepaid basis, and a one-month refundable deposit is required.
